Volkswagen Golf R heads against the new Toyota Supra with shocking results

The turbo powered, 2.0 liter, all wheel drive Volkswagen Golf R hatchback challenges the new, rear wheel drive, turbo powered 3.0 liter, Toyota Supra in an old school drag race. The Golf pushing out 306 horsepower falls short when it comes to power and engine size. But will the 335 horsepower Supra leave the Golf R at the light, or will the hatchback show up the new German powered Supra. Comment who you think will when and what you think of the results.

Did Toyota make the Supra totally useless? It can't be modifed (as the last one that was modified caught fire) and it loses to a golf r. Toyota should rename that car now.
Wow. I had no idea it had caught fire. I do agree that it seems to be pretty weak overall. Maybe, in the upcoming years for this model, they are be able to sort out all of these problems and bring the name back to its original glory.
I really hope they do and if they don't make it into a tuner car then they can perhaps partner with BMW again and make it into a great sports car. Can you imagine a stock supra with performance like the m4 gts?It would be a dream come true for the...
