Facing growing competition, Volkswagen wants to stay ahead by announcing the arrival of future models in its ID electric range. Thus, after the ID.3 and ID.4, the family will soon welcome a new member, the series production version of the ID. Space Vizzion Concept.

Presented last year as a concept, the vehicle had a particularly sleek and aerodynamic design. In addition, it had the practicality of an SUV with a large modular boot. The series production version of the car will officially arrive in 2023. This is excellent news that will comfort those who are resistant to SUVs!

Ralf Brandstätter, Volkswagen's CEO, announced the news on his LinkedIn account. The series production model could adopt the name Aero B. With its very dynamic silhouette, the car could be the electric equivalent of the Arteon Shooting Brake. And on the technical side, the Aero B will put forward equally convincing figures.

The station wagon could indeed cover 435 mi (700 km) on a single charge! This would mean that the Aero B will keep the ID. Space Vizzion's 82 kWh battery. The engine is expected to deliver 275 PS in two-wheel drive and 355 PS in four-wheel drive.

      • Yep. I would buy this. Love me some VW long-roofs. Liked the B5 Passat wagon so much I had two of them, not at the same time though.

      • I already loved the Arteon but this might just beat it. It's a close one and it seems I have to wait a bit untill I can crown a winner.
