VW Block, Honda CBR Head - A 11.000Rpm Screaming Polo Mk1

Dominik Schlott and his unique take on the Classic FWD Volkswagen Hatchback

This is the DS Motorsport VW Polo Berg-Cup competitor, a 175Hp/700Kg FWD machine powered by a 1150cc Engine with a quite original setup. Using the the original VW Polo 1.2 Block but now with a Engine Head taken from a Honda CBR motorbike ( an some further machining...) it was possible to end up with a motor capable of reaching upwards of 11.000Rpm while still being under the 1150cc Class Regulations.

With most of the preparation being carried out by Schneider Motorsport, it is a very interesting take on the Classic Polo and proof that on Berg-Cup´s lower classes its still possible to find incredibly quick, highly prepared Monsters.
