An officer of the Dubai Police will attempt to break the Guinness World Record of the longest wheelie on a quad bike, and that it will happen early next year as part of the Dubai Motorbike Festival.
The record for the longest wheelie (distance) on a quad bike is 50 km, and was achieved by Lucas Henwood at the Kings Park Speedway in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada on 19 September 2015.
Now, Abdulla Hollandi who is a member of the Dubai Police's stunt team, wants to beat this record. He is planning on a record-breaking 60km, from Ghantoot to Dubai World Trade Centre on January 12. He hopes to break the record in one hour with a speed of 60-80 km/h.

"Wheelies require strong hands and steady forearms, I have been doing long distance wheelies twice a week and in between practices I go for crossfit training to build my strength and endurance. The next five weeks will be hectic for my training," Hollandi told Khaleej Times.
The Dubai Police will play a crucial role in the attempt, making sure the route is safe. Two lanes on Dubai-Abu Dhabi Highway and along Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed for the attempt.
