Was looking through some old photos, and stumbled on these. Its a Harley-Davidson Sportster 48 1200cc, and I got a chance to take it for a spin around Moscow a couple of years ago.

That was my first experience of a Harley, and my first ride around Moscow streets. And that was one hell of a ride! I can still remember the brutality, the savagery of that bike. You feel every single explosion of the engine with your bottom, you hear and feel every gear change. And when pulling away from the lights, you better be carefull with that throttle if you don't want that beast to run away from you.

And the second thing I remember is that commaradory among bikers. I don't know if it is the same in other countries, but in Russia every time a biker meets another biker on the road, they always greet eachother with a hello geusture. You ride along, and you just feel yourself a part of a big family, and that's an extremely cool feeling, I've got tell you!

I haven't ridden a bike in the street since, but I am planning getting myself a set of two wheels next spring, when the motorbike season in Moscow starts.
