Watch as a Porsche 918 Spyder hits 212 mph on the Autobahn
Take one Porsche 918 hypercar and an Autobahn, add a dollop of bravery and you get triple digit speeds.....
The Porsche 918 is an 875bhp feat of brutality merging with technology to produce a car of staggering numbers. While some 918’s have been pushed to the limit on track, you rarely see it on the road.
Thankfully one very brave driver decided to take a 918 Spyder all the way on one of the few roads where triple digit speeds are allowed – The German Autobahn.
The official top speed for the 918 Spyder is 211mph and these brave individuals managed an indicated 212.5mph – we suspect that there was most likely some speedometer error or Porsche was being a bit light on the truth as to the 918’s actual top speed.
One of the most staggering things about this clip, at 212.5mph a single mile was being covered in a shade under 17 seconds.

212 mph with Ozzy Osbourne behind the wheel ;-)
comment of the day.... who knew Ozzy had a 918.....
It's great - but really stupid at the same time. Come on, 212mph on a public road.. imagine, most people do 80mph.. that's over twice that - takes just one small mistake or another driver not being aware and it's game over.
I strongly suggest not crashing then 👍

If your on this road and change lanes with out looking or just changing to slow the other car down ( to often happens by wana be pretend cops) is what...
Read moreI knew a lady that would pull into that lane to slow you down and thought it was funny to cause accidents . she said they should't be going to fast to stop if they need to ! then she put her daughter and 2 year old grand daughter in the hospital in the last crash so now she is not such an ass and stays in her own lane
Whilst a mile is covered in 17 seconds, these guys hit the speed and backed straight off
Where's the video of the speedo?
