Watch as Dodge Demon eats up some of the world's best supercars
It manages to beat a Lamborghini Huracan despite running out of gas.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has broken many records upon release. It's the only stock production car in history to lift the front wheels off the ground on launch, and it has the highest g-force acceleration ever recorded by a production car. 0-60 miles per hour takes a mindboggling 2.3 seconds, and it manages a recorded quarter-mile of an incredible 9.65 seconds at 140mph - toppling the holy trinity and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport for the crown of fastest quarter-mile ever set by a production car.
3,300 Demons rolled out of the factory between 2017 and 2018, boasting a 6.2L V8, boosted with a 2.7L supercharger, pumping out a maximum of 840 horsepower and 770 pound foot of torque running on 100 octane fuel.
In the video, the Demon is seen drag racing numerous exotics on the drag strip, including a Bentley Bentayga, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari 458 and 488, multiple Lamborghini Huracans, a McLaren 570S, and even a 720S.
Despite running out of gas towards the end of the strip while racing one of the Huracans, the Demon makes quick work every car on the drag strip, only given close competition when placed up against a lime green 720S - which on paper can manage a close-to (but not quite as fast) quarter mile time of 9.9 seconds.
