If you think the new Ford Mustang GT500 is quick for a 2020 car then you would be absolutely correct. It will do 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds and has a 5.2L V8 which produces 760hp.
However, even one with 800hp cannot beat a McLaren 720s in a straight line. Bear in mind that the 720s has around 100hp less than that, but then again it does way just over 400kg less.
But as you probably well know, the 720s is the king when it comes to straight line speed, so just watch this launch as it tears up the streets of Mexico in an American-Anglo drag race.

This is why I just don't need to supercharge my Mustang. It is what it is. If I want faster, I'll go get faster.
And that's *just* the base 720. The 765LT will be murderous!
