Watch as Father of idc drifter fixes a competitor's car with seconds to spare
Legend of the irish drifting scene John Shanahan fights the clock to get his sons competitor Andrius Vasiliauskas back out on track to compete.
John Shanahan, father of IDC racers Jack and Connor is well known within drifting as one of the sport's biggest heroes and this clip perfectly depicts that. After contact in a previous race leaves Vasiliauskas with what looks like a bent track rod, John battles to get him race ready before time runs out. Sportsmanship at its very best.

Restores a bit of faith in humanity. Must've been dramatic live to wonder if they'd make it in time.
John used to race National Autograss, same back then. just a racer through and through and just wants to see the racing continuing. Used to lend spares to people and all sorts to get them back out.
That is what sport is all about, well done that man!
