These days, supercars are easily able to topple the standards set by the more exotic ''hypercar'' class of cars from 10 years ago. Modern advancements in technology and science, coupled with the constant battle for who sits at the top of the automotive food chain, means that supercars in 2020 really are pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Two such firms who heavily contribute towards this dog-eat-dog warzone, and represent the pinnacle of their own respective national motoring industries, are McLaren and Ferrari - it seems like they just can't get enough of one another, and it's as though they've been locked in an eternal battle for supremacy since the dawn of mankind.

And now, their flagship supercars, Ferrari's F8 Tributo, and McLaren's 720S, have been tossed into the fiery drag-strip pits of America to see just which brand will come out alive.   • well, the driver was the main factor here. The 720s has done consistent 9s on this sort of surface

    • Yeah it was all about getting of the line properly. That 720s clearly has more outright speed past 100 mph.
