Watch: Ferrari Purosangue SUV spied testing and it sounds fruity
It looks like a Maserati Levante because it's using a body as a disguise
Ferrari has promised the world an SUV since 2018 and only now are we starting to see some developments. A Purosangue has been spied testing on public roads and it sounds like it has a new exhaust.
The heavily-disguised test mule of Ferrari's first-ever SUV you can see here is actually wearing a Maserati Levante body so that you don't see what it will actually look like. The added flared fenders suggest it will have a wider track than its cousin.
In the initial announcements all those years ago, Ferrari confirmed that the Purosangue will have "multiple powertrains with highest specific power output plus electric motor." This means it could come in both V6 and V8 variants, but there's also likely to be a top-spec V12 variant to take on the Rolls Royce Cullinan.
