We're already well into the winter season. Many of us will have to venture out into the snow and ice wherever we live to run our errands and keep things going. In situations like this, there's a real danger of small slides turning into fairly nasty accidents. With this in mind, it could be well worth watching this video that tells you not only how to correct a slide on an icy road, but also tells you how to prevent them from happening in the first place. If you need to venture out into the snow in the next few days, give this 13-minute video a watch. You never know, you might learn something very useful from it!

Nicely done refresher on a basic but all-too-often forgotten driving skill. Thanks for posting it.
Can’t prevent sliding if you’re going faster than 5mph. Even if you don’t slam on the brakes, you’ll slide. Hell. I was driving sideways this morning and I got all tire tires, 300lbs of salt, and low gear.
i own bmw any every time i go in to turn it slides and rpms go up, also after every stop throttle pushes it self to max. is it normal, :DDD or is it bmw habit
