Watch Ken Block take on a Swiss rally stage in his Ford Escort Cosworth
It's an in-car view of the whole stage and it's INCREDIBLE
Love him or loathe him, Ken Block is now one of the biggest stars in rallying.
His incredible sense of showmanship has helped to keep rallying prevalent in mainstream motorsports, as well as make the car equivalent of gymkhana a wildly popular phenomenon watched by thousands if not millions of people.
You may remember that he had an Escort Cosworth RS that he managed to have rebuilt after losing it to fire damage. Well, now it's very much back in action and he's recently filmed a video of him tearing up a rally stage in Switzerland in the drivers' seat of that very Cossie!
In-car videos of rally stages are always an exhilarating watch and this one is absolutely no different. The stage Block is tackling in this video is Stage 9 (Veysonnaz 2) of the International Rallye Du Valais. As Block himself succintly puts it, "yep, the one with that big jump in it."
You certainly feel that big jump vicariously through Block and his co-driver when they hit it! The Cossie performs the whole stage impeccably too, sliding around everywhere with that classic 4 cylinder rally car buzzsaw from the engine at all times.
If you've got a spare 9-10 minutes, stick this on. You won't be disappointed!
