The Panamera Achieved The Record For The, "Executive Cars" Category On The Nürburgring Nordschleife
The Porsche Panamera is certainly a fast saloon as it has just broken the record for the fastest executive car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. This record was broken by a tested and tuned 2020 model year vehicle. But where was it tested, and what was tuned?
Lars Kern, Porsche's test and development driver stated that the Panamera had been tested, not just on the Nordschleife, but on other tracks as well. As for what was tuned, Thomas Friemuth, the VP of the Panamera's production line, stated that their mission was to increase the bandwidth of the Porsche.
They added 80 BHP to the engine, bringing the power output to 630 BHP. They also optimized the chassis and the suspension to forget comfort and be all about speed. Race tires were also developed specially for the car that broke the record.
So what do you think of this? I know that nobody liked the Panamera when it came out in 2009 because of its looks, but they have improved significantly with the performance and the looks. So for today's article question, "Do you think the Panamera looks good and performs good?" Answer it in the comments.
