The Mini is an icon of car culture all over the world, but especially of car culture in Britain. The classic Mini design lasted from the end of the 1950s right up until the beginning of the 2000s, with only minor updates during that time. What you may not know, however, was that there were several failed attempts to create a newer and more modern Mini for the 70s, 80s and 90s. This video by Big Car talks about those various failed reboots of the Mini concept and why they didn't go ahead.
