Instagramer @code_m2 had his BMW M2 Competition stolen right out of his own driveway in Poland a few weeks ago. He posted the security footage on YouTube to warn others how easy it was for these two thieves to jack his car in the middle of the night. These scumbags scanned the M2 key's code from outside the house, then used a repeater to unlock and start the car. They were in the car and out of the driveway in about 2 minutes. Thankfully, the car was recovered an hour and a half later, only missing the signature "SO YOLO" license plates. Credit goes to the M2's sport exhaust for waking up both the owner and the neighbors! The GPS tracker he has installed on the car probably helped a little too...

    • Ha, I have a dog as well, a German Shepherd, but my car itself is the reason people don't steal it.

  • Best way of providing extra protection and security for your luxury cars is a simple one which is buy a disklok steering wheel lock or similar. With a security feature like that it will make the car less desirable to steal even if they can gain access with the keyless entry.
