Watch this Fiat Multipla reaching the 120 mph mark

Solid performance

With its unsightly appearance, the Fiat Multipla is one of those cars that are unjustly hated. In fact, if we set aside its very special design, the Italian compact MPV boasts some very nice features such as the possibility of transporting six people in just 4.09 m.

This makes it a very practical vehicle for everyday use and very easy to drive thanks to its small size combined with its large glass surfaces. Today, however, youtuber Petrolhead Number One has decided to take the vehicle into the great spaces, far from the city streets.

Let's go to the German Autobahn! These motorways with their many unlimited sections are suitable for large, supercharged saloons but are clearly not the favorite terrain for the Multipla. And yet, the small MPV will reveal some quite astonishing performances.

This 2008 facelifted model with a more acceptable and aerodynamic front end hides under its bonnet a 1.9-litre four-cylinder diesel developing 120 PS and 206 Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It is the most powerful engine available on the Fiat Multipla.

  • Frightening. This vehicle was not built for such antics. I LOVE going fast and have done some ... not so legal speeds. But I had vehicles built just for such activity. Donuts in this would be a blast. Doing 120 could lead to plowing over mailboxes making the Beastie Boys proud. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž
