Whilst it was a regular sight at regional and international airports in times past, the Avro/Bae RJ is rarely seen in most places now. The "whsiper jet" has been out of production since the early 2000s and has indeed pretty much completely disappeared from the skies. Except, that is, in Canada. Why is that?
