This week we had a bit of a scare as the rain started pouring down and I pictured the one road we could take to leave camp. It was steep and rutted, but at least it was dry yesterday. Now it was pouring rain so we knew it could get interesting. Once the truck slid into the hole and more power simply made the tire go skyward further we knew that a little winch action was needed.
After solving that issue we head to a spot called Grutas Tolantongo. It's a natural hotspring where warm water gushes from the mountainside around you. We had the place almost to ourselves!
