Hi everyone, Omri Dayan here, original tribe leader with the Vintage Nuts tribe. I think one of the amazing things about drivetribe is, there are people from all over the world active and because of that you don't necessarily know the person who's content you are viewing. That was what got me thinking about making a video with as many tribe leaders, and workers as possible all explaining why they love cars and why they love drivetribe. This would help get our petrol-head community together and help put faces to the names!
I sent out messages on the drivetribers slack page to tribe leaders asking if they were interested and have already received a lot of video from leader, big and small. I then sent out a message to the people who work behind the scenes making drivetribe what it is, and they too were interested. They suggested I in addition to the the videos I already have, explain what I want so that other tribe leaders could join in so that is exactly what i am doing here!
If you are a tribe leader, worker, or member you are encouraged to send me a video saying the following: (NOTE: please take a small break between each line so I can edit others in).
"Hi I'm _______ from the _______ tribe (if applicable). I love cars because __________. For me drivetribe is _______. We are Drivetribe!"
Not all you say will make it in the video so try to be very concise and thoughtful, any quality will work but of course better is, well better. and make sure if filming with a phone it is horizontal. Video will be released soon thereafter. Thanks!!!

Sorry to disappoint but I will not be participating in this. If I wanted people to know what I look like. I would have posted an actual pic of myself in my profile. Its a great idea don't get me wrong and I do hope it helps people. I personally do not take selfies nor do I film myself (watch my Saab video. You will never see my face). The fact that my tribes are live and have a hand full of people is enough for me. I don't really even post in my tribes any more, other than the occasional re-post of some other person's post. I am sure the final product will be nice. I am still trying to understand how a post can have over 3k views, hardly any bumps and not a single comment (It kind of makes a person feel shitty about something they spent almost a month creating.) *sigh*. I just enjoy Drive Tribe for what it is and will not be doing any more slide shows as I feel I am just wasting my time and energy on them. Enough of my baggage though. I am not trying to bring anyone down and I do hope it is a success for you and everyone involved. Have fun with it everyone, I'm sure it will turn out great.
