RUF had a stand at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Its Smarties coloured cars were a sight to behold. RUF's own 'Modern Classics' sat next to a perfect 2.7 RS. I couldn't work out which I wanted more.
If you are in the market for something special this Christmas, don't overlook the German marque. My pick of the 'pre-owned' machines listed on its UK website is the 1995 CTR 2 - the successor to the famous 'Yellowbird'.
In RUF's state of tune the air-cooled 3.6-litre flat-six kicks out well over 500bhp to all four wheels. Recently overhauled, this CTR 2 is listed POA. Santa knows the magic figure...
