Sauber F1 driver Pascal Wehrlein collides with Williams F1 driver Felipe Massa, rolls his car, and crashes at Miami's Race of Champions Jan. 21

Wehrlein clipped the TechPro barrier that separates the lanes on the finish straight, causing his Polaris Slingshot three-wheeled car to veer to the right and make contact with Massa's car.
Wehrlein's car launched off of Massa's Slingshot, rolled, and crashed to a stop on concrete barriers that separate the track from spectators seated a few feet away.
Massa stopped his car and ran over to assist, arriving before track marshals reached the crashed car under red flag conditions.
Both Wehrlein and his passenger were helped from the vehicle and walked away.

UPDATE: Wehrlein withdrew from the event on doctor's orders. In a statement he said, “I’m very sorry to withdraw from today’s ROC Nations Cup. I’d really like to race again and I feel fine, but the doctors have advised me to rest so of course I will take their advice. It’s no more than mild discomfort but my real priority for the coming year is my Formula 1 season. So while I’m sad to be missing out on all the action, I send my best wishes to my team-mate Sebastian Vettel and the rest of the competitors here in Miami and I wish them another exciting day’s racing.”
