Were you fooled by this 'Bugatti Veyron' based on an Audi TT?
I wish I was blind!
Over the last couple of years, I have made sure to post as many replica cars on DriveTribe as possible, just so that we can appreciate true craftsmanship when we see it. This is not one of those by any means.
This is the creation of someone I can only describe as a lunatic. This was a gen-1 Audi TT but has now been 'styled' to 'look like' a Bugatti Veyron, which is a $3 million car.
From these photos, you can see just how hard the creator had worked to try and make it look like a Veyron and you can see where they are coming from...sort of. The front grille reminds you of the Veyron, as well as the curvature of the body panels.
They have even tried to get the coloured design on the side of the car...which is close. I have no idea what is going on with the rear, but it is quite a sight. That wing is bigger than my dining room table.
However, if you find the exterior too much for you, then you can always just focus on the interior which has pretty much been left as standard which is fine by me. Let's just hope the Audi TT's standard 1.8L four-cylinder engine can replicate that of the Veyron's 8.0L W16.
What makes this even better, is that this car is for sale. Want to buy it? Click here.
