What cars does LeBron James own?
The basketball star has some serious motors in his garage
LeBron James is an American basketball player who has won the NBA most valuable player award six times. He is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time and has also won the NBA championship three times, currently playing for the LA Lakers.
James earns an estimated $40 million per year – so what cars does he choose to spend his cash on?
Lamborghini Aventador Roadster
Various fashion brands collaborated on this specially-wrapped Lamborghini Aventador Roadster to celebrate the launch of the Nike LeBron XI and the King James Legacy sneakers.
The Aventador Roadster is a convertible supercar that has a 700bhp V12 with a top speed of 217mph. With the added bonus of it being a convertible, you have thousands of miles of sky and direct access to its twelve-cylinder soundtrack.
Hummer H2
This enormous SUV was one of James' first ever big car purchases. He bought this beast when he was beginning to make a name for himself in basketball. James' heyday is now a distant memory, much like the Hummer brand itself.
The H2 was powered by a 6.0-litre V8 which produced over 320bhp. And don't assume that from the harsh exterior that Hummer hasn't paid attention to the interior.
The H2 comes with air conditioning with tri-zone climate controls, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls, cruise control, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats and eight-way power front seats. These are all the things you get for standard in an H2.
Maybach 57S
For those who aren't aware of Maybach, this car may just seem like a hideous rendition of a Mercedes S-class. The 57S is a hyper-luxury car that has a V12 engine producing 620bhp.
This car was derived from the Maybach concept car which was revealed at the 1997 Tokyo motorshow and James liked to ride around in this car often as it had one of the most luxurious interiors of the time.
1975 Chevrolet Impala Convertible
This piece of American history definitely suits James' personality. This car represents his days playing for Miami Heat and has massive colour-matched wheels, an encrusted boot and cabana coloured interior trim.
This 1975 Impala was one of the last Chevrolets to have a wide frame because later models had a much smaller frame due to new rooflines. This car supposedly has a 6.0-litre small block V8 which produces 265bhp but with the modifications that James has made to the looks of the car, there could be a very big engine under the bonnet too.
