What do you think about this Porsche 992 GT3 Harlequin?
Is this something Porsche should make?
The original Volkswagen Polo Harlequin turned 25 years old this year and to celebrate this, content creator Siim Pärn and founder of Gran Turismo events Peter Ternström have partnered together to create what could be the best looking 911 GT3 we have ever seen.
Sure this is going to be a rather controversial car, much like the original Harlequin Polo was, but we think this works because it's so unique. Most people are realistically going to option their brand new GT3 in the new Shark Blue colour or grey, so why not switch it up a bit?
For those of you who don't know, the Harlequin edition of the Polo and later the MK3 Golf was something fun VW did. All they did was make four individual cars, each with a different base colour. These were Tornado red, Ginster yellow, Chagall Blue and Pistachio green.
They then simply got the engineers to switch round the panels until they looked as they do. The fact that these were removed manually means it was quite a lot effort in the end, costing each customer around $150.
Would it be wrong if Porsche did this? Maybe, but who really cares at the end of the day, it's just a bit of fun and we hope you all love this render as much as we do.
