What Gemballa did next: Build the ultimate off-roading 911
Just a few days ago we reported that RUF had come up with a safari-ready 911, now though, the legendary 80s tuner Gemballa has launched a mad 911 called the ‘Avalanche 4x4’.
Just look at those huge tires and long-travel suspension, dual roof vents, and a double-decker bookshelf rear wing. Everything about this car is bonkers.
While this car is still a render, Gemballa claims to make this car in the next 24 months. Gemballa, we take your word.
Also, do not get confused between this and the 959-inspired off-roading 911 coming. That car will be launched by Uwe Gemballa’s son Marc Philipp later this year. There has been a law suite launched between the two claiming that who's the real Gemballa. Let's see what happens.
As for the power output of the car, worry not because the man in-charge is Gemballa. He is a man who has built mad 911s and Carrera GTS with massive amounts of power and the same is expected here. This car is expected to produce well over 800 horsepower. Crikey.
