What happens when a 900bhp GT-R meets a LaFerrari in the wet?
Utter demolition, that's what
From the factory, the R35 Nissan GT-R doesn't really have a leg to stand on against the LaFerrari - 562bhp from a twin-turbocharged V6 is quite firmly trumped by 950bhp of naturally-aspirated V12 hybrid fury. But with some serious fettling to the Japanese underdog, the tables here have been completely turned.
In a cacophony of launch control, all-wheel drive grip and outright grunt, the GT-R simply blitzes the Ferrari hypercar, apparently setting a nine-second quarter-mile in the process. This specific R35 based in Scotland is supposedly capable of a 1300bhp output, with this run using a 900bhp tune and road tyres due to the horrendous conditions.
The Nissan GT-R might be getting a bit old hat these days and seems to have somewhat lost its edge in the supercar marketplace. But with a few modifications (and the right conditions) it can still outrun million-pound thoroughbreds when given the chance.

I thought in a race both cars start at the same time??
Gtr jumped the lights
GTR jumped the lights. False start for sure. The most important thing is the Ferrari is a very, very expensive and rare super car. The Nissan is, well, a boy racers toy car that has been messed around with. If the Ferrari was as cheap as the old Nissan it may of been driven harder.
"May OF been" ???
No Ferrari fanboy, but that launch was shit.
Who was driving the La Ferrari? Helen Keller?
