Hello, reader of this post, this is my personal opinion on 2021 New Cars of The Year. The classes are: sports car, track car, off-roader, supercar, enthusiast car, midsize sedan, ultra-luxury car, super sedan, truck, SUV, super (pointless) SUV, station wagon, EV, and finally, hypercar. At the end, overall COTY. Let's get started!'
Sports Car - BMW M2 CS
Track Car - Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS
Off-Roader - Ford Bronco
I would have chosen the Bronco R but that's not here yet. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 was a disappointment.
Supercar - Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster
Because it sounds too good.
Enthusiast Car - Porsche 718 Spyder
4.0l nat. asp. flat-six, 6spd manual, convertible, great looks, carbon bucket seats, what else could you possibly want? Sadly it is greatly underappreciated. It costs less than a base 911, but has better performance.
Midsize Sedan - 2022 Genesis G70
Great little car. It looks good, it's reliable, it's got a great interior, and I have a thing for Genesis'.
Ultra-Luxury Car - Bentley Flying Spur V8
The W12 is heavier, doesn't sound any better, way more expensive, and when exactly will you use the extra power? The facelifted Flying Spur looks much better, and the interior is perfect.
Super Sedan - Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
They made it for the enthusiasts, V8, manual, I love the interior, and that color in the image is too die for.
Honorable Mention - BMW M5 CS
I just love it and the rear bucket seats are really cool.
Truck - Ram 1500 TRX
SUV - Kia Telluride SX Prestige AWD
Bit of personal bias here, my family will have one in a month or two, but there are many reasons it's in such high demand. The interior is amazing, better than most BMWs and Merc's I've been in and it's not too expensive. It also rides very comfortably.
Super Pointless SUV - Porsche Macan GTS
Station Wagon - Mercedes-AMG E63S
EV - Porsche Taycan Turbo S CT
It's a fast wagon that can go off-road, the EV part is the only flaw imo.

One mistake Super sedan = alfa romeo gta.
Decent list actually. Alfa GTA over the blackwing, but apart from that pretty good!
Blackwing has a manual and a massive V8
Giulia has an auto and V6 and is impractical and unreliable
I rest my case
Giulia is Italian, has amazing dynamics, a better sounding engine and is beautiful.
I rest my case.
I personally think the sports car should definitely have been the 400Z, but nice picks overall.
Nicely written! My very favorite car this year is indeed the Ford Bronco. The rest I truly wasn’t excited about sadly.
Not even the CT5?
Actually never mind. The CT5 is pretty bad-ass.
