What If Harry Potter Characters Were Cars?

"Yer a car, Harry."

This post of Drivetribe is happy to say that it's perfectly normal. Except for the fact that this post is going to tackle another question frequently asked (or nor, idk) by people.

Today's million-galleon (get it?) question is: "What If Harry Potter Characters Were Cars?" and lo and behold, your saviour is here! Wait, no, that's a Thor reference not a Harry Potter one. Anyhoo, let's start:

Harry Potter- The Boy Who Lived.

We'll be starting off with the main character- Harry Potter! Now, I've chosen the 8-Series for the Chosen One because, it too, like Harry is the boy or car that lived. It got resurrected after the original 8 Series got axed back in the 90's. At 523 horsepower, it feels very powerful and sporty. Like almost all modern turbocharged engines, this 4.4-liter V-8 is tuned for low-end torque, and there's a monstrous 553 lb-ft available at a mere 1800 rpm and sustained until 4600 rpm.

Hermione Granger- The Brightest Witch Of Her Age.

The smarty pants of the HP trio, Hermione is one of my most favourite characters from the franchise. And so is the Range Rover SVR. It's majestic, super-fast and very clever. The SVR uses a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that spits out 567bhp, 516lb ft and is capable of 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds. Also, I chose this because Granger and Range- get it?

Ronald Weasley- The King.

There is only one simple reason I've chosen the Megane RS- because Ronald and Renault. Hehehehe. Based on the current Megane R.S., which comes with a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 276 bhp, the 300 Trophy sees that same power unit tuned up to 296 bhp. As a result, the spell to 62 mph is done 5.7 seconds.

Albus Dumbledore- The Greatest Professor They Ever Had.

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore *phew* was one of the greatest characters out of all of the books and movies. Hence, he gets one of the greatest cars out of all time- the Cortina. The engine in it was a 1557 cc straight-4 that was more than enough to help it become one of the best sports cars at the time. Just like good ol' Dumbledore.

Draco Malfoy- The Little Slytherin.

Sinister and rich, the V90 is the perfect choice for Draco Malfoy. It is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that produces 316 Dalas (Swedish horses) and 295 lb-ft of torque and it's also a really good representative of the Malfoy Family.

Lord Voldemort- He Who Must Not Be Named. Oopsie, I Just Named Him.

The car for Voldemort is- drumroll- the Le Mansory! I've selected this car because it's pretty evil looking and it also looks like it doesn't have a nose. So, that's done. It produces 700 hp and is able to launch itself from 0-60 in just 3 seconds.

Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect.

Luna lovegood.

Thanks for reading and toodles-noodles!

Bye-bye, Norbert!

  • I agree that Ron is The King. I'd make Potter the new defender because he's got modern Muggle touches here and there but like a defender he doesn't damn die. And I'd make Hermione a 765lt because McLaren=smart
