What if the SRT Viper had Euro-style white Taillights?

Marvel is making a What if series, so why shouldn't I?

Have you ever discovered something that made you think you just discovered something you never knew you always wanted to know? That's how I felt when I was messing around in Forza Horizon 4. The story goes like this: I blasted through a speed trap and came up pretty hot on a ghosted AI car. I knew the car was in ghost mode so I kept my line and simply drove through the car like a phantom. That's when I noticed something I've seen before: The red-tint on the taillights were temporarily removed. The difference between this time and those earlier occurrences was the remembrance of Ford's European-spec Mustang, which has white taillights instead of the usual red on it's American counterpart.

Seeing as I've always wondered what a European Gen 5 Viper would look like, I decided to exploit this little glitch and see what the results were. I don't know about you, but I really dig the look! Makes me wish an aftermarket company would make white Viper taillights... anyway, enjoy the photos!

  • It doesn’t look bad on most car and looks good on the mustang so I think it would look good!

    • I think the demonic appearance of the viper, even the challenger hellcat/demon, would be a bit ruined. Especially in all black as I think your Viper GTS is.

    • Guess Vipers in the Atlanta area would be the only ones allowed to do it then: youtu.be/3x6a98mW2GY

  • White taillights ARE ILLEGAL IN EUROPE. (It’s considered a good idea to know if other vehicles are coming towards you, or moving away).

What’s legal is red taillight bulbs covered by white lenses, so that taillights appear white *when not illuminated*. That’s what the ‘Stang gets here.
