What Is the Ugliest Car of 2019?
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Well so is ugliness.
2019 has been quite the year for us car enthusiasts with the resurgence of the Supra, and the C8 Corvette, but there have been plenty of cars that have been introduced to the world that have made us want to puke at their hideousness and question the brands that made them. Today I want to know what the Drivetribe community thinks the ugliest car of 2019 is. Voting will end Wednesday, December 18th at 7pm EST. The winner will then go on to compete for the title of the ugliest cars of the decade. Here are the nominees plus a dishonorable mention.
1.) 2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS

Ever since the relaunch of the Chevrolet Camaro for the 2010 model year, the Camaro SS has always looked good, until this year. I don't know who at GM thought it would be a good idea to take the face of the 2019 Honda Accord and make it fit on a the Camaro SS. What did the Camaro do to you GM? It was a dumb idea and now GM's Camaro sales are suffering for it. I used to constantly see new Camaros every year. I've ZERO 2019 Camaro SS models on the road this year and for good reason too. It's quite appalling to look at.
2.) 2019 Ford Puma

When Ford unveiled this ugly thing, they said it has "seductive exterior styling". Well I can really only say one thing about the 2019 Ford Puma. I'd rather walk in a pair of Pumas which is sexier than this ugly pug-faced crossover. What's just as bad is that it's named after a menacing wildcat doesn't have the performance or the looks to back it up.
3.) Bugatti Centodicei

This car is ugly. Period. The Centodicei is supposed pay homage to the legendary Bugatti EB110 but the EB110 styling cues just don't mesh with Bugatti's current design language at all. In fact, the more I look at this thing's face, the more it reminds me of a Japanese anime cat and it just isn't pretty on a car. If you are one of the 10 people who paid $9 million for this, it's clear you have a lot more money than sense or style.
4.) 2019 BMW 7-Series

I think we can all agree that BMW designers were inspired by the dude in the office with the biggest nose when designing the new 7-Series. It certainly is not flattering as now the car looks like a massive pig. It's bad but what's worse is now the BMW designers obsession with kidney grilles the size of a wild boar's head is spreading like a wildfire and it needs to be stopped ASAP, although, the memes of the massive grille are quite funny.
5.) 2019 BMW X7

I told you BMW's big grille obsession was spreading. The comically oversized kidney grilles are on the new BMW X7 too and is just as bad if not worse to look at than the 7-Series. BMW needs to go back to the drawing board and give this thing a nose job because right now, the only way to make this look good is a 50mph head on collision with a brick wall.
Dishonorable Mention: Tesla Cybertruck Concept
I have to say that I was debating putting this abomination on the list considering production won't start until 2021. Well I have made my decision. The Cybertruck won't officially be on the list for this reason but I just couldn't not mention it. Therefore this monstrosity earns a spot as a dishonorable mention. Normally I would say that there is no such thing as a wrong opinion, but if you think this looks good, or think it's cool, your opinion is very, very, very wrong. I'd also say you need to get your eyes checked. (jk)
