Do you feel an emotional connection when you're on the perfect road with the perfect car? Yes? Then this tribe is for you.

I'll keep this short, sweet and to the point. We are car people. We obsess over body lines and styling cues. We gawk at the details and all of the impossibly perfect quirks each motoring vehicle has to offer. Performance figures continue to astound us with each new model that is released, but all of that is just half of the equation as to why we love the automobile.

You see, the unfortunate truth is that the majority of people living on this planet consider the act of driving to merely be a way of getting from point "A" to point "B." But to people like us, it is so much more. When you're on your favorite stretch of road with a well-sorted car, nothing quite matches the feeling of bliss and euphoria that experience has to offer. It's the combination of elements - the perfect road, the sound of the engine as you row through the gears, the feedback through the seat and the wheel as you carve the perfect line. It's like the caviar on your cracker, the extra-crunchy peanut butter on your P.B.&J. (trust me, extra crunchy is the best); it's just sheer perfection. Performance figures are placed on the back burner of your mind and the car's aesthetic appeal often becomes irrelevant. It's all about the bond that you form with the car and the road - a dance between you (the driver), the car and the road.

The purpose of this tribe is to most accurately depict the euphoria of driving through written articles, photography and video. We want to put you in the driver's seat. We want you to get a taste of what these cars are really about. Statistics and figures look great on paper, but what do those numbers actually feel like when you're sitting behind the wheel? We want to show you. This is the sole purpose of this tribe. We are The Driven Ones.
