What is your opinion on Tesla

I have mixed feelings really part of me is saying yeah I love it they are so cool and the other part of me says it is not a real car it does not make any noise and it is a computer. Some times I have different feelings about the Tesla on select day for example Thursday I hate the Tesla and on Monday I adore it . I hope I chose a side any time soon but right now I’m just confused. Tell me what you think , share your opinion and I will reply as fast as I can.

  • I am not trying to degrade or criticise anything or anyone it is simply my point of view so please go easy on me but not only Tesla but many other electric cars are not 'cars' they are simply a piece of machine which helps us in effective and efficient transportation. They are soulless things which you cannot feel you cannot connect with them while driving you cannot hear them talk to you they have absolutely no aural sensation no driving pleasure and definitely mechanical complexity( especially the transmission part since they are basically electric motors spinning the wheels).

Again this is just my point of view so please bear with it(no offence to anyone)

    • Exactly that is how I feel about all electric cars most of the time but at the same time I think Tesla is a big step to the future.

    • Truly agree with you sir(with a very heavy heart indeed) that they are the future for needed for sustainable development but I still think that gasoline or petrol cars should still be preserved and not become a dead breed.

  • I don't find them interesting, they aren't leading in the technology they create, so not impressive. They have shockingly bad build quality, horrible working conditions and poor customer service. Horribly run company always on the edge of bankruptcy, making bold and ridiculous claims. Unreliable overpriced junk, frankly.

    • I can agree with that and then I can’t

    • Two have recently caught fire and blew up whilst completely switched off and not charging, one in China and one in San Francisco, if that's not enough to convince how much of a joke Tesla's cars are, what is haha, I can keep going

  • Mixed feelings, the fanboys are bad, but the cars are pretty good.

  • Ok, now let me just state that my family has two Tesla’s but before you grab your torches and pitchforks for those of you who dislike Tesla let me say that frankly, I agree with you. I really only like Tesla’s for their instant acceleration and styling, but that’s it. Electric cars aren’t ‘there’ yet. Not just in terms of range and charging, but also things like batteries and substitutions for all the damn cobalt that goes into them. But here’s the biggest problem. To me, Tesla’s don’t have any character. They don’t have a soul. In a gasoline car, there’s engine noise and the feeling of the gear changes, but in a Tesla, you’re just a long for the ride. In a gasoline car, you’re part of the machine. I’m 16 and I currently drive a 2005 VW Passat that I actually prefer my family’s Tesla’s; not just because of the sentimental value that it has to me but because when I drive it, I feel like I’m working the car and I’m really becoming one with it. And here’s my last point on my little rant. A lot of people buy Tesla’s as a fashion statement and try to prove to people that they care about the environment, when really they only want them because they accelerate quickly and are crammed full of technology.
