What It Takes To Become A Very Important Person Of Supercar Brands

The first thing you need is money

Introduction

We all dream and maybe some of us own these incredibly rare and fast performance cars we all know as supercars. They excite almost all of us and even non-enthusiasts are attracted to them. There is more brands now to purchase from than ever before and demand for them continues to grow. Some of these supercars/hypercars don't lose value. Some gain value and some do lose it. We have brands like Mclaren, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini and many others. Hypercars are a thing of recent, but it takes more than money to buy those. Let me explain how to become a VIP of your favorite supercar manufacture.

Mclaren

Lets say that Mclaren, a recent British supercar company to return and rise tall, is your favorite brand, it isn't as hard to put your foot in the door as you might think. They have a unique business model where if you got the cash, you can buy a Mclaren. You don't need to invest money in used Mclarens and work your way up. If you have the money for a new 720S Spider, they will sell you one. Now if you want the next Mclaren hypercar that comes out, things are a little different. In order to be put on a watch list as a customer for their next hypercar, you will likely have to have bought many Mclarens before. Or what you could do is order a 720S and the new Artura and put them in very bespoke specs. This will show Mclaren that you mean business and that you are passionate for them. Spend the money on extra options and rare color options. Maybe purchase some of their older models too. Like the 600LT or 570GT. With those you won't be able to pick your specs because they don't make them anymore, but Mclaren will notice how many cars you bought. That will get you on their customer watch list for sure. They obviously know you have more money than brains, so if you accomplished this, they will likely email you about their next hypercar and you can accept a spot on the purchase list.

Porsche

The great thing about Porsche is they produce the best performance cars you can buy. They still have class, can fight against Ferrari, Mclaren and Lamborghini, but they are reliable and practical for daily use. Unless you want a track focused beast, which they also can offer you with the GT3, GT3RS and GT2RS. Porsche also offers many perks. For example if your 911 or Cayman needs servicing, they will give you a loaner car. This will most likely be a Macan or Cayenne, but they are still very nice cars. And this is in my eyes, is a fantastic customer service. You really don't have to be a special collector to be able to buy these amazing Porsches. Of course it always helps. But because Porsches are more daily usable, they are one of the best options if you are looking to buy a performance car. And if you want something crazy, they offer models that will give in to those desires.

Ferrari

Ah Ferrari. The most stubborn car brand in all of history. I guess they still follow Enzo's legacy. Say you have never owned a Ferrari before. You walk into a dealership and you have the dough for a new 812 GTS. They will deny you. Ferrari wants you to be very passionate for the brand. And if you have never owned one before they want you to develop the relationship before they can trust you. So they will likely point you to the used Ferrari market. You will likely have to buy a California, F12 Berlinetta or an FF. This is fine, but you now have to slowly work your way up into becoming a sucker for Ferrari. You will have to attend Ferrari held rallies, racing events and maybe even attend Ferrari racing school. If you do so, Ferrari will definitely want you as a customer. Once you have become very good friends with the brand you will get to buy their new cars. When you purchase them you should order them through Ferrari Tailor Made. A program where you get to apply exclusive options to your Ferrari. It costs a lot more, but Ferrari will likely consider you as a customer for their next hypercar and upcoming new cars. Just about every customer who got accepted for a Laferrari was a collector of Ferraris. Or they had been buying Ferraris for years. So Ferrari is the hardest brand to get your foot in the door with. But if you have always dreamed of owning one, you might think it is worth it.

When you finally get the opportunity for a Hypercar

So you have been accepted by your favorite brand to buy their new hypercar? and you have the cash? Well now you get to order them in a unorthodox fashion. Say you have interest in a Pagani or Bugatti. You will likely get to fly over and visit their factory. You will sit down with their top executives and get to spec your new hypercar with the brand itself. Say its Koenigsegg. They will be emailing you back and forth and give you the configurator for the new Jesko digitally. You will get to choose all the colors, options and which variation you desire. The track Jesko or the Jesko Absolut. With Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mclaren and all of the rest, to buy hypercars is in a similar process, but building the customer base can be different between them in order to be allowed to buy them.

Conclusion

Hypercars and supercars sometimes take more than just lots of cash to be able to own. Companies invest millions to design them and spend millions to build them. Not to mention they put a lot of time and passion into producing them. To have an exclusive car you have to go through and exclusive process. And a very expensive and time consuming one with most of these brands. But if you dream big enough, it might just be worth all the time and effort. Despite what depreciation might happen. • Actually you can buy an "entry level" Ferrari like the Portofino or the 488 without any hassle,if you have the right money ofcourse,as for the hypercars that's where u need more than money.

    • Even with their entry level they still will likely point you to the used market

    • i don't think so,no manufacturer would point their customers to the used markets for their products,it doesn't make business sense at all,and it also doesn't explain the phenomenon of spoilt kids who don't know anything about cars buying...
