What race car would you daily drive?
Most car enthusiasts have always wanted to drive a race car on the road. I know both me and Adrian have thought about at least once. Imagine driving something like a Porsche 919 Hybrid down to Tesco to get some milk or a Mercedes C63 AMG DTM racer down the M1 as part of your commute. How cool would that be?
Well, me and Adrian have talked about this recently and we have chosen our picks for our dream daily driven race cars.
Adrian: Volvo 850 Estate BTCC

The Volvo 850 Estate is already an excellent car by any means but what makes it cooler is that Volvo entered it into the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). Two 850 estates were entered in the 1994 season and were driven by Rickard Rydell and Jan Lammers. The cars only raced for one year and after that, they were replaced by the 850 saloon. However, their uniqueness made them stand out to fans and enthusiasts.
Me: Audi R8 LMS GT3

I'm a huge fan of the Audi R8 and was pleased when the R8 LMS GT3 was introduced at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. Sure, it may not be practical in a traditional sense but, it's incredibly cool. The Audi R8 LMS line of cars have been successful in their respectful racing leagues where it has challenged the likes of the Porsche 911 RSR and Lamborghini Huracan racers.
What would you have?
So I've outlined what me and Adrian would have as our daily driven race cars, but I want to know what you would have. Leave me a comment with your choice!
