Hello tribers! First of all, I believe I have to start with an apology because while I'm indeed wearing this watch now, these pictures and videos were not taken today, they're from my summer trip to Isola d'Elba. Moving on.
This is the Casio G-Shock GA2000, released around the same time as the much more popular GA2100 'Casioak'. I bought this watch three times, actually. I first bought the army green version, but then I sent it back. And then I got the blue+gold variant... and I sent it back. And then I bought the ice white variant, and I still have it.
Things I like: I think it looks great and (like most G-Shocks) it feels like it could probably outlive its owner and survive a nuclear fallout. Things I don't like? Well, I'm fairly certain it will gradually and inevitably turn yellow and, with the best will in the world, this is a summer watch. When it's -5 out there, and you're wearing a hat, a scarf and 4 layers of clothing, this kinda looks out of place. Maybe.
