What's the best car you've ever driven?
A recent road trip got me thinking...
I recently went on a trip to California, and rented a 5 litre, V8 Mustang via the car sharing app Turo. A Californian road trip in a V8 had always been one of my driving dreams, and the Mustang has always been one of my favourite cars.
Until two weeks ago, I had to admire the car from a distance, and as the proud owner of a Ford Focus RS, I found myself slightly underwhelmed by the Mustang, which has twice the engine capacity, produces around 100bhp more than my RS, but is roughly comparable for straight line speed, and nowhere near as fun round corners.

I've been lucky to drive some cool cars in my time, and I hope to drive many more, but that road trip got me thinking: What is the best car I've ever driven?
It's so easy now with supercar clubs and car sharing apps to drive dream cars for a day or two, we now live in an age where we can drive our dream cars.
For me, it has to be a friend's mint Escort Cosworth I once had the privilege of driving. I spent the whole time shitting my pants that I'd bin the thing, but deep down I love cars that are actively trying to kill me, and that car was one hell of a handful.

The best car I've ever driven is probably a factory-original Jaguar D-Type, followed very closely by the Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2! Both absolute automotive legends.

Belongs to a friend of mine who was kind enough to let me have a go for my birthday. It's pretty much just an Elise with a V12, which can only be a good thing.
I'm not old enough to drive legally, so I've driven a G-Wiz in an empty ground.

1989 C4 Corvette. My mother bought it brand new for my father when he was dying from cancer. He survived, and so does the car, and now my mom is mad she ever bought it haha. It still holds a place in mine and my father's heart. and we'll never get rid of it.
