When the 720Hp Audi S4 IMSA and Hans Stuck met once again
The Brutal 5 cylinder Monster built originally for South African Touring Car Racing was revived and shown some extra life on British Hillclimbs..
With 720Hp/7.500Rpm from the unique sounding 2.2 Straight 5 engine, 1200Kg and 4 wheel drive, Audi´s IMSA racers were incredibly successful in late 80´s and early 90´s Trans Am series but the version seen here is an even rarer "animal" Built on the base of the Audi 90 IMSA GTO, this S4 version is one of only 2 units built for South Africa´s Wesbank Modified Race Series, where it would went on to dominate between 1992 and 1994.
With the opportunity to watch both legends again together at Shelsley Walsh Nostalgia, nothing like enjoying the incredible sound emanated by the Turbocharged Audi unit and pay hommage to one of the most successful Touring car drivers ever.
