Which of these 5 everyday brands would make the best supercar?
Vote for your favourite at the end!
Have you ever wondered what normal everyday cars would look like as supercars? How would that even work and would it be something you'd like to see? Well funnily enough, I have five cars ordinary cars to present to you today which have been altered ever-so-slightly.
I have chosen Skoda, Kia, Volvo, Vauxhall and Peugeot and have attempted to showcase how each brand would present a supercar if they had to make one. Here's what I came up with:
The Skodarri 489
Kicking this off is the Skoda supercar which has taken its inspiration from the Ferrari 488 as you may be able to notice if you look really carefully with a highly trained eye. I chose the Skoda Superb as that is the most premium car the brand offers and it looks good with a sharp front end...if you're into that sort of thing.
The Kaudi (stung by a bee) R9 V10
Next I present to you Kia's entry into the supercar world and it is an even sportier version of the already quite sporty Kia Stinger which now has a familiar front-end which you may have seen somewhere before.
This V10 powered Kia would do wonders around a country road or track. It is undecided as to whether it would be front-engined or mid-engined but it certainly wouldn't be rear-engined that's for sure.
The Volton Advantage
This sporty twist on a Swedish luxury car is Volvo's answer to a supercar. The colouring went rather wrong on this one as you may be able to tell, but it has a certain pizzazz about it one would find in a supercar. The Advantage would be a fully-electric supercar as the name suggests which is the only one on this list.
It is of course based on the S90 as that is Volvo's finest car and it has a familair front-end which can be seen on other manufacturer's cars.
The Vox-hole Superleggera SWB
If you thought Vauxhall was boring then think again as this is what their supercar could look like. Forget about the VX220, this is a far superior machine which the back-end of yet another popular car which you may have heard of.
It would be fantastic around track, especially with its mighty mid-mounted four-cylinder engine which would produce some immense sounds.
The Poo-joe 510 Performante EVO S
And finally on this list is Peugeot's entry into the world of supercars and they have swooped in with a beautiful piece of kit. It is based on their ever-growingly popular 508 but is now mid-engined and produces near to 600hp.
It's one of the finer looking cars on the list despite it being French.
