mid 2015 just south of Leicester, Jack Sutton (above) Ben Norton and Joe Isaacs huddled together and created the Whiskeythrottle workshop. All three founders have an impressive back history of previously owned and modified machines so it was only natural to pool together to make something new together.
Aside from custom builds the lads are usually found inside the whiskey workshop tinkering and trying to modify bikes and cars whilst trying desperately to bicker with one another about things like "don't spit in the anodising mix" or "stop fucking around with the gas axe" or even arguing that painting things red makes it go faster. (it does not)
The whiskeythrottle lads embody the simple joy of fixing and modifying motorbikes and cars in your friends garage and having a good ride out when the job is done. Its a lifestyle.
And then theirs me, Jordan Foster the documentarian. The lads have owned everything from CBR 600s to MORRIS MINORs to DRZ 400s to classic MINIs... I have a shitty black fiesta and a 2stroke kawasaki KA from the 80s. Not much much of a pedigree I know but I'm here to film and take pretty pictures.. so shut up.
To those of you who are interested, this is what I wrote to drivetribe bidding to become a tribe leader:
