Who wins: Fast driver + slow car or slow driver + fast car?

This is a debate I've had with my mates for years. I consider myself to be a pretty good driver, but I have friends in much faster cars that think they are faster than me by default. If you've got an automatic BMW and you are beating me in my manual Peugeot, you're obviously going to be faster, but that isn't a fair reflection on skills v skills.

This theory of who is faster, a fast driver in a slow car or a slow driver in a fast car, was put to the test by Donut Media around a track all of us Gran Turismo fans will know like the back of our hands, Willow Springs.

Let us find out once and for all what the situation is:

Do you have any friends who think that they are faster than you but in reality they have a faster car? Let me know in the comments!

  • That depends on the track. with 1 or 2 strait long lines, the fast car will always win.

  • Long as it's in a straight line, the fast car should win no matter who's driving
