Whoever Wrote Clarkson's Hammond's & May's IMDB Bios Is Brilliant
They need To Be Given A Raise
If you’re just like us then you can’t get enough of The Grand Tour boys: Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. They don't need any introductions around here because you are reading this thanks to them. It was they who decided to build Drivetribe, the YouPorn of Cars.
However, maybe you didn't know about these three and The Grand Tour show. In your quest to find more information, you would Google them and perhaps stumble your way to their IMDB page. If so, you'd be reading these incredible gems. Whoever wrote these biographies needs a raise immediately!
“Jeremy Clarkson was born in 1960 in the Yorkshire town of Doncaster in the North of England, an area renowned for its loud shouting and rampant exaggeration. He went to Repton school but didn’t really pay attention and then got a job with a local newspaper where he was famed for stories such as ‘Literally 50 billion people visit cake sale’. Probably. A chance meeting with a BBC producer saw him cast in the hit show Top Gear and the rest is history. Except for jet packs, which are the future.”
“Richard Hammond was born in 1969 in the British town of Solihull, which is near to Birmingham although it tries to pretend that it isn’t. He started his career in local radio before getting a break on a cable TV car show where he was able to hone his presenting skills, safe in the knowledge that no one was watching. In 2002 he was given his big break on BBC Top Gear and has never looked back, except when pulling out into traffic. He lives almost in Wales and is known as the Hamster, though only by people he has never met.”
“James May was born in the 18th century in the British city of Bristol. He studied music at university, although secretly he was thinking about old motorcycles. In his career to date he has been sacked from Autocar, let go from Driven, and relieved of his duties at CAR magazine. He previously presented Top Gear and is now one of the presenters on The Grand Tour, pending dismissal. He lives in London where he likes playing the piano, going to the pub and dismantling carburetors, often all at the same time.”
We can't wait for them to come back for the next series of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime! Who's your favorite of the three presenters?
