Earlier today I was really bored so I did the only logical thing to do which is to search random things on Google. I like the Koenigsegg brand so I searched it up. One of the popular search results was Koenigsegg Ghost so I went to see what it was about. Turns out it is on all Koenigsegg cars. It turns out the logo is from one of the Swedish air force‘s planes. The plane it the logo is from is the Saab AJS37 Viggens. It symbolizes the motto “the show must go on.”

This is a small detail on Koenigseggs but just cool to know about. There is also something Koenigsegg has for some of its Swedish owners called the Ghost Squadron Tour were they drive through the Swiss Alps. So in conclusion is somewhat like a second Koenigsegg logo. I hope you enjoyed this article and comment down below if you knew about this ghost logo.

  • Wait so that means Koenigsegg will bust the ghosts?

  • The reason they put the Ghost logo on their cars is to honor the 'Ghosts,' Swedish planes that the nearby towns could only hear, hence their name.

  • The ghost is the emblem of the 1st division (Ghost divisi) at Bulltofta (Ängelholm) AFB (F 10). Ghost because the engines was warned up before the dawn and the take off was at break of dawn. People living around the base could hear them but never see them and the "haunting" ended with daybreak. Koenigsegg is located at the grounds of the former flotilla. The ghost on the cars are a homage to the division and only cars built at Ängelholm will carry that emblem.
