W​hy the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is one of the best modern Alfas ever!

A​lfa Romeo is a brand famed for it's sports cars. It is a typical Italian car maker having the reputation of being a tad unreliable, but the recent Alfa's that have being going on sale in the recent years look like a completely different breed of Italian Stallions.

O​nly 500 of them will be built, but it is incredibly light. It has a 2.9l V6 bi-turbo underneath the bonnet with nearly 550 pure Italian Horsepower under the bonnet. It does 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. For a 4 door saloon with a V6, that's just insane.

You may be thinking right about now "how is it so quick" but it only weighs a slight bit over 1.5 tonnes, and it is missing the rear seats. Yes it's a 4 door saloon with 2 seats (I don't understand either) but that's part of the reason it lost around 100kg compared to the original Giulia, the roof is carbon and I would imagine a lot more of the car is. Being equipped with a 2.9l V6 in a car that only weighs 1.5 tonnes, it will fly... and I'm not joking.

I​t's great though. Italians having almost a bottomless pit of money that lets them make any mad thing that pops into their head like the GTA! I love it, I just can't get over that V6 pushing the car to 60 in 3.6 seconds! Who knew a V6 made by Italians would be that good!
