Why the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the World's Greatest Garden Party
Missed out on the world's craziest automotive party? Fear not.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a tremendous event. A three-day celebration of "motorsport and car culture", it is one of the few times in the calendar year when manufacturers from separate corners of the globe unite in order to show-off their shiniest, most expensive machinery for all to see. The best part though is that it's all accommodated within the confines of one man's backyard (albeit a very large one).
There is a problem, however. It's held in West Sussex. Now, this is perfectly fine if you happen to live in the United Kingdom, but for the rest of us who happen to be located elsewhere in the world, it can be a bit... far. And expensive.
Thankfully, there are such things as the internet and cameras which enable the Festival to be broadcast around the globe. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the videos below, which depict some of the world's hottest machinery racing down one of the world's longest driveways.

Brabham BT62. It's glorious.
Looks not unlike the Regera. An interesting machine indeed, I might look it up sometime.
If you worship petrol you should consider it a religious duty to attend (it was too dam hot this year though)
It is certainly on the bucket list!
