Widebody Pack 2021 Dodge Challenger is pretty much muscle car perfection

Just look at the stance on that thing!

The Dodge Challenger has always been one of the most hardcore American muscle cars money could buy, but now it just got even more menacing with the 2021 Widebody Pack.

This kit is only available for the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shaker and T/A 392 models but that's fine for most people, and there's no reason why you couldn't sort a third part one out.

Pricing for this kit will start at $47,690 for the Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shaker Widebody, and $49,090 for the T/A 392 Widebody kit.

In addition to the widebody kit, customers can also expect wider 305/35ZR20 Pirelli tyres, an SRT-tuned chassis, and adaptive damping suspension. In addition to this, you also get a Mopar cold-air intake, conical air filter, and optimised air box for added performance.

As well as this, the car comes as standard with its monstrous HEMI V8 engine which produces 482 HP and 644 Nm of torque. And all this is mated to a six-speed manual box as standard, but you could upgrade to the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic instead.

According to Dodge, with this Widebody Package fitted, you will see improvements of nearly 2 seconds per lap compared to the old R/T Scat Pack configuration. And you can also expect quicker 1/4 mile times, with a 0.2 seconds gain throughout a 12.1 second run at 112 mph (180 km/h). Not too shabby for a car of this weight.

    • Been producing since 2007. I used to own a 392 Hemi. Still want one. Maybe I should buy one.

    • I'm biased but I'd have to go with a Camaro SS 1LE instead

    • Of the muscles car this is by far my favorite. I would go scat pack simply for the more restrained muscle car look. But really I want that 392. I was at Chrysler in the testing labs and saw the prototype of the 392. I asked if I was seeing that correctly and was told I was. Saw big Brembo brakes and smiled. May not be the best car in the world but damn if it isn’t one of the wickedest machines. I would totally rock one of these. 11’s all day. Buy stock in Tire Rack and go for it!

    • Not a car known for good handling. How does it do in the corners?
