  • Sharing your motor with another person is no different than sharing your Wife or GF.

Would ya really want another person’s nose buggers in your coin tray; or another man’s cologne on your GF’s brassiere??

    • Do you ever stay at hotels? When you travel do you take your private jet to your many exotic holiday houses? Surely sharing a bed and a toilet is worse, however 99% of people are perfectly comfortable with this as we do with hotels once it’s seen...

  • You want to share my car? And I suppose you want to fuck my wife too.

  • The pandemic has curtailed this one. I don’t want anyone in my car other than my family. I might have considered picking someone up enroute but not doing that now either.

This is a problem for greenpeace activists as this has now become the norm, included using masses of PPE which has ruined the plastics argument.

  • I just don’t think most people want to share their car. 2030 is only 10 years away. I don’t think attitudes will change much in that time. I certainly wouldn’t like to share a car, ew.

  • Its funny how English-speakers refer to car sharing as people renting out their own cars, and in Russia by car sharing we mean companies which provide rental cars, that you can rent, drive it around for several hours, or even several minutes, and then just leave it on the road, and you pay a per minute fee, like you may with mobile phones.

Thats really a great thing. It costs less then a taxi, so you can get yourself a car and drive, for instance, to the pub, park it there, and drink as much as you like, and then get a taxi home. And the car you drove there in will just sit there until someone else would want to drive it somewhere.

And some companies even offer really interesting cars. I've driven Genesis G70, Mercs E200, C200, CLA, GLA, BMWs 118, 520, 320d (which was absolutely fabulous), a Porsche Macan, and a 1969 Mustang Convertible, all in car sharing. Thats just one of best things ever

    • True car sharing is no different to car rent. Some family members of mine from Canada always rent a car when they come to Romania.

    • It is different in that you dont have to go to the office and fill in a million forms and wait for a week. You sign up for it online, provide them a scan of your license, and in a few hours your get access to the cars. Then you download an app on your...
