Williams are to give Robert Kubica two days of testing this month to establish whether the Pole can make his comeback to Formula 1 after seven years away. Kubica, has not raced in F1 since he suffered life-changing injuries in a rally accident in 2011 after his right hand was partially severed.
Kubica only has only partial movement in his right arm, however, that hasn't stopped Kubica from competing in motorsports. In 2013 he became the World Rally Championship-2 champion. However, in 2017 he has been eyeing a return to Formula 1.
During the summer he tested for Renault three times but the French team decided not to take its interest further.
Williams now want to evaluate him as a potential replacement for Felipe Massa.
