Wonderous Ferrari 550 GT Racer Goes Under The Hammer
Nat asp V12. Check. Awesome Red Bull livery. Check. 4 Million Pounds. Still working on it
This 2000 Ferrari 550 GT1 is going to auction next month and what a thing! It was an evolution from a 550 GT made to compete in the French FFSA Championship. It is one of 2 cars built by Michel Enjoras and Italtecnica for Team Rafanelli that had its horsepower ramped up to compete in the 2001 GT Championship. It was later handed over to JAS Motorsport the following year. From the world GT Championship, it then went to the Italian GT Championship in 2003 and 2004 with JMB Racing, where it was driven by Mr Toto Wolff. It wears this superb Red Bull livery which was originally applied by JAS and has has been reapplied recently.
Comment below, how much do you reckon it will sell for? Its cousin, that won a 24 hour race at Spa in 2004 sold for a record breaking 3.28 million pounds (record for most expensive online car auction sale price).
