A motorcyclist in Texas somehow managed to avoid a one to one with the grim reaper himself after losing control of his motorcycle while speeding through traffic at almost 130mph.

By some miracle, he manages to stay upright – while the pants changing moment was caught on film by his riding buddy who of course had a helmet-mounted camera to capture the evidence, sorry I mean the dramatic moment.

As to where this genius was heading in such a hurry, we can only guess he was late for his engineering class at Texas Tech (not likely), but this is purely speculation. As you can see in the clip, this very fortunate person was wearing none of the essential protective gear at all. Instead, he thought that just a T-shirt, trackie bottoms and trainers would protect him from a considerable date with road rash.

When the wobbles hit the rider, you can see that both he and his buddy are running at speeds of well over 125mph, given that the genius in wobbled for around ten seconds, this is some 1000ft distance covered during which we can assume that the rider may well have been getting his affairs in order.

At these speeds, with the traffic adding to the potential obstacles to collide with, had the rider been parted from his bike its likely there wouldn’t have been much of him left to scrape from the highway at all.

All of which proves that sheer stupidity and blind luck can be a non-lethal combination of sorts.

Just remember, be cool and don’t be like this guy.
